Bienvenidos! Welcome to the 2010-11 fourth grade page! Here you will find what’s happening in our fourth grade Spanish Language classroom at IST. We look forward to sharing student work, special announcements, links to valuable language resources, and much more. We hope to receive many visitors who will join us in the excitement of modern intercommunication that can happen on a blog and encourage any comments you may wish to post.

Los CUENTOS DIGITALES
Below are the rest of the fourth grade digital stories. They worked on their own or in pairs writing a story that included a title, introduction, character description, at least 6 pictures/drawings, and an ending. We had a bit of ‘technological difficulties’ with this project, thus it’s taken a bit of time to post these – there is a learning curve that comes with using technology but Sra. Tamara and the fourth grade students eagerly worked to learn and celebrate their final product of CUENTOS FANTASTICOS! We hope you’ll enjoy them too! =)

The following slide show displays our fourth grade student’s efforts at story telling. They worked on their own or in pairs writing a story that included a title, introduction, character description, at least 6 pictures/drawings, and an ending. We have had a bit of ‘technological difficulties’ with this project, but as soon as Sra. Tamara gets back to the states and has better internet access, the recorded versions will be coming soon!
los Carteles de Cuentos / Story Posters:
Un ELEFANTE GRANDE – ROBERTO
This is an EXEMPLAR, an example for students to follow when creating their own stories. You can use this as a baseline for pronunciation, for correct vocabulary spelling and grammar, for organization and for ideas in creativity. The criteria to be followed is: Title and authors, written story-line, recording of story, at least 6 pictures/drawings, transitions, and an ending. WE WILL BE SHARING THESE PROJECTS SOON – WE ARE HAVING SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES BRINGING OUR VOICE RECORDINGS TOGETHER WITH OUR ILLUSTRATIONS – but HELP IS ON THE WAY!!! I look forward to sharing these, the students have trabajados muy fuertes. Check back soon! Sra. Tamara
Hola!
These great videos are from last May made by our Fourth grade students (then third graders). Their task was to create a poster explaining and describing a sea or space creature using descriptive body vocabulary. To see all the videos, continue below.
